About the trip
White Water Rafting
Bradys Lake rafting offers a unique experience of Tasmanian rafting.
An 800m long slalom course with easy car assess provides the opportunity to run lap after lap of excellent grade 3 rapids; with the pinnacle rapid being the "Cruncher" a 1:1 drop over 5 meters.
This event will run over two days (10th and 11th) with people able to attend either or both days with the option to remain and camp overnight, or return back to Hobart. The main caveat is that people will be responsible for their own transport to and from the event, with the main convoy leaving from the sheds at 0830 on the 10th and will not return until the late afternoon on the 11th.
People will need to bring their own food, cooking gear and camping equipment if planning to camp overnight.
Anyone who is planning on coming up on Sunday will need to make this clear once signed up so that rafting equipment (eg Wetsuit etc) has been accounted for and is available (it may be wet from the previous day).
The trip will be limited based on guide availability but realistically can run with upwards of 15 - 20 people each day.
