About the trip
Rafting 29/07 + 30/07 (North-West)
This will be a full weekend event, leaving from the sheds at 6pm on Friday with the intention of returning back to Hobart on Sunday evening. People are welcome to attend either both or singular days, but transport will be left to participants to coordinate.
There are two seperate events which correlate to either Saturday or Sunday. Please sign up to the day(s) you wish to paddle.
We will be camping overnight on both Friday and Saturday night. Participants will need to be self-sufficient.
Plan:
Friday:
- Meet at Rafting sheds at 5pm, leaving by 6pm
- Drive to North West
- Camp overnight
Saturday:
- Full day of rafting
- Camp overnight
Sunday:
- Full day of rafting
- Return to Hobart
Many of the rivers will be grade 3 - 4; people with limited experience are welcome to attend but should discuss their suitability prior.
