About the trip
Date: Monday, 12 December 2022River: Franklin River.
This river truly needs no introduction. If you wanted to go on a multiday rafting trip in one of Tasmania's most iconic rivers then this is the one. The trip will run from the12/12/2022 to the 20/12/2022, spanning a total of 9 days.
This trip is open to any club member who has suitable rafting experience. Priority will be given to active club members first. At this stage, signing up for this trip via the website is considered an expression of interest. Expressions of interest will close on the 30/06/2022 with successful applicants being notified within the first week of July.
There are only 11 spots available (excluding guides) for this trip due to the nature of the trip and boat availability. Due to the limited number of spots, participants will be selected on merit, taking into consideration their activeness within the club, overall participation throughout the year, and experience.
Any successful applicant will be required to pay a $300 deposit to secure their position. At this stage, we expect this trip to cost ~$1200, but may be as low as ~$1000.
