About the trip

Intermediate Rafting Trip!

Note: This is not a beginner trip! To come on this trip you must be a confident  swimming and have some previous rafting experience.

The plan:

Meet at the sheds (40 Olinda Grove) Saturday morning 7am and head up to Bradys White Water Course (UPDATE: we are running the North Esk now due to a cancelled water release on Bradys). The NEsk is a grade 3/4 river.  It's ~ a 3.5 hour drive to get there. We will stop on the way at the bakery to get some food so don't forget to bring some money!

What to bring

- Warm clothes e.g. thermals for under wetsuit

- Bathers to wear under wetsuit

- On river shoes that you are willing to get wet (e.g. Old sand shoes/runners)

- A packed lunch

- Cash to pay your drivers for fuel!

The club has wetsuits, helmets, and life jackets for you to use on the day!

It is expected to be back at the sheds Saturday night sometime so keep the whole day free as we cannot guarentee an expected arrival time!

If you aren't a member of the club yet be sure to head to the 'Join' tab on the website or bring cash to join on the day! (Note: If you are not a member you will not be covered under any insurance and cannot come on club trips.)

We have not yet gotten confirmation of the river release so we may end up running a different river (North Esk or Meander).

What ever ends up happening you should expect to be wet and having alot of fun!  The rivers we are aiming to hit may be upto grade 3/4 (and out of reception) so rafting experiance is required!

If you have any questions please shoot me a message or text.
