MERSEY with the easter bunny

Hey rafters!!

For those interested in stepping up their rafting following this season's intro-trips; this is the trip for you!

also a great chance for any up and coming guides to have another spin on the stick!

Located in the Meander Valley, the Mersey River is a grade 2 - 3 white-water river. Spanning just over 5 kilometers, the trip is a lovely scenic paddle with exciting rapids almost consistently throughout the course. Due to the 3-4 hour drive each way, this is an overnight trip! We will be doing multiple laps a day with a range of boats coming.

We will be leaving from the sheds on Sunday morning and returning Tuesday morning. Anyone coming not from hobart will make their own way to and from the river.

This trip will be overnight camping beside the river, so you need to bring all the usual camping equiptment. (tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, stove). There is a drop toilet nearby. The mersey year round can be very cold, so warm camping equiptment is always recommened.

You will also need dinner for sunday and monday night, and  breakfast / lunch / snacks for sunday/monday/tuesday; we will not be stopping to panic shop on route! please come prepared.

Fuel money for this trip should be roughly $35 per person :))

Sheds at 6:30 sunday morning for a pre 7:30 am departure!
