The Bailout

Are you sick of rafting through farmland? Do you think that it would be more fun to carry the boats further? Well is this ever the trip for you! The plan, weather permitting, is to drive up to the Collingwood River for a couple days of wilderness rafting. Driving up Friday night we will camp at the mid point of the river where the Lyell Highway crosses it. Saturday we will aim to raft the Upper Collingwood down to the cars and then raft the lower section on Sunday and carry the boats out via the Donaghys Hill track. This trip has great scenary and is sutiable for keep beginners although please reachout with any questions.
