The Rains have come time to have FUN.

Intermediate Rafting Trip! 

Note: This is not a beginner trip! To come on this trip you must be a confident  swimming and have some previous rafting experience. 

The plan:

Meet at the sheds (40 Olinda Grove) Saturday morning 5:30am and head up to Mersey River to do the Alum Cliffs Run. The Alum Cliffs Run is grade 3/4 .  It's ~ a 3.5 hour drive to get there. We will stop on the way at the bakery to get some food so don't forget to bring some money!  

What to bring

- Warm clothes e.g. thermals for under wetsuit

- Bathers to wear under wetsuit

- On river shoes that you are willing to get wet (e.g. Old sand shoes/runners)

- A packed lunch 

- Cash to pay your drivers for fuel!

We are expecting to be back at the sheds Sunday night sometime late so keep the whole day free as we cannot guarentee an expected arrival time!

We are not to sure what the level is going to do so we may end up running a different river (Ouse, Nive or Meander). 

What ever ends up happening you should expect to be wet and having alot of fun!  The rivers we are aiming to hit will be grade 3/4 (and out of reception) so rafting experience is required!
