Intro Rafting Trip 1 for 2024

Welcome to the first intro rafting trip of 2024!

This will be a beginner friendly introduction to rafting for all our new members. This will be a day long trip finishing with a BBQ. We run beginner friendly trips all year long so no stress if you miss the into trips! The $15 cost of this event will cover your fuel and the BBQ!

The plan:

Meet at the sheds (see location of event) to pack gear at 8am then head out to the Picton or another river depending on water level. We will stop at a bakery on the way to the river for a cheeky mid morning snack. After a few hours of rafting we will finish up with a BBQ before heading back to the sheds. We will be car pooling to save on driving and get to know each other!

What you need:

• Swimmers or thermals to go under wetsuit
• Towel and dry change of cloths and dry shoes
• Money for the bakery
• Enclosed footwear for on river (Something you can swim in like Dunlop Volleys, Wetsuit booties, etc)  Wetsuits and all other gear you need to paddle can be provided by the club!
